"After the Witchwood gig last Sunday,
the pressure was off but the anticipation even greater. SW was up for it!
Didnt get off to a great start, by that I mean, too much messing about trying to
get there for a 4.30pm Soundcheck to find when we got there, no bugger there!
It was 6 0'clock by the time a sound engineer was there to give us a good sound
check...and all credit he did! The sound on stage was just incredible, miles
miles better than we had at the Witchwood 4days earlier.
In the soundcheck whilst told to jam, we knocked up a pretty decent physodelic
version of ACDC's "You Shook Me All Night Long!"....which was fun.
Any road the gig...Apart from the lack of people in the audience due to a
Mid-week gig (saying that, the only people there had come to see us, not the
other 2 bands....) but it was great.
The sound, the clarity, the energy, just the overall tightness of the band were
awesome. Even, I spotted Ian getting into the groove...dying to break out into
some Fred Astaire Sh*t! Haha"
