Bobby is a blues fanatic through & through. He’s always had a guitar in his hands since he can remember, but first took to it when he was around 6/7 years old. He grew up listening to guitar legends like Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana & Eric Clapton; these guys made him pickup up the guitar. But it wasn’t until he found his hero ‘Gary Moore’ when he was about 11, before he took his guitar playing & music in general more seriously. This led him to learn more about the blues & discover other blues greats like BB King, Buddy Guy, Albert King and the mighty Mr Peter Green.

His love for Classic 60's / 70's Rock shines through in his aggressive but tasteful playing. Stealing from his mum & dads record collection when he was kid, Bobby grew up learning from the likes of Led Zeppelin, Cream, Golden Earring, ACDC, Status Quo, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Thin Lizzy etc. All in which, elements show in Bobbys Harder take to the blues in his song writing.

Recently, Bobby as discovered modern day blues men such as Keb'Mo, Robert Randolph and one man in particularly... Joe Bonamassa!

The Backbone of Snakewater, is the man behind the sticks, Ben Streets. With his own unique style of playing, Ben brings the band together combining various musical styles with the bands Hard Rockin' Blues sound. Since first picking up the sticks at the age of 11, Ben as been compared "musically" to the likes of Stewart Copeland, Chris Tsagakis & legendry excentric drummer Mr. Keith Moon!
A Busy lad as he his, Ben is also a member of a New Mills based 7-piece Ska/Punk band, "Stand Out Riot". Doing a Degree at The Royal Northern Manchester School of Music, Ben is also started to build a promising session musician career, doing a few sessions for Big Tone Recordings.
